Unfortunately for the Swede set pieces are about all the midfielder provides, but if an opportunity arises around the penalty area the Black Cats know who to turn to.
5. Mesut Ozil - Arsenal
The Gunners talisman does not always take free- kicks - with Mikel Arteta and Santi Cazorla also very capable - but the vision the German possesses makes Ozil a great option.
4. Leighton Baines - Everton
Has become the Toffees' undisputed set piece taker on all counts and deservedly so due to the consistency that Baines brings to the team.
3. Frank Lampard - Chelsea
Despite now being 35-years-old and lookingboccasionally sluggish in open play, class doesn't disappear and Lampard can still hit a venomous free-kick.
2. Yaya Toure - Manchester City
Might not have featured on this list 12 months ago as for some reason Roberto Mancini was not utilising the Ivory Coast international's talent with Toure having scored four already this campaign.

When it comes to talent there is one player in the English top tier that has it in abundance and that is the truly brilliant Suarez, who can seemingly find the net from any position or angle.
