ARSENAL, MAN.CITY AND CHELSEA'S COMBINED EPL 11.

A premiership 11 team drawn from the top 3 teams in the land.

By now its clear to all that the race for the premier league title is between 3 teams - Arsenal, Chelsea and Man City.

Few weeks Alex Ferguson opined that this is the tighest title race in history, claiming that 6 teams can potentially win the league. But with United losing at the weekend and Liverpool and Tottenham drawing at the weekend there seems to be a widening gap between the top 3 and the chasing packs.

Liverpool in 4th position are 8points adrift Arsenal at the top, even Michael Owen should be sure by now Liverpool may never catch up with the gunners. Not with the way they are conceeding an average of 2goals per game even when playing at home! Yes they have the advantage of having to play at home at this crucial stage of the season against Arsenal, Chelsea and Man.City; but Anfield is not the fortress the Stamford bridge or the Etihad is and neither has liverpool been solid at home as Arsenal has been at the Emirates this season conceeding just 6goals there!

Mathematically it may be 8 points seperating the first and the fourth position, still Liverpool doesn't look like reducing that deficit on current form.

Three teams are at the thick of the battle with two of the teams clashing today. In view of this at Soccertalknews we felt we should look at a premier league eleven comprising of only players from this three teams. We use the formation 4-2-3-1, a formation used by all the three teams.

GK - Sczesny

Only 2 of the 3teams goalkeeper are in contention for this spot, Cech and Sczesny. Man.City have conceded way too many goals for their goalkeeper to ever be in contention. Cech has been dependable as ever but its Sczesny that has been outstanding so far keeping 11 clean sheets this term as against Cech, 9. Equally he has produce more saves than Cech ,73saves against 48saves. He is our number 1.

CB - Mertesacker

From fragility to solidity at the back, that has been the story for Arsenal this season and no one epitomizes this better than the German defender. He and koscielny has formed the best CB partnership in the league. Other than Koscielny no one makes more interception from the top 3 teams than BFG, 1.7 per game.

CB - Koscielny

Underrated, but one of the best CBs in the league. Makes average tackles of 1.8 per game. But Koscers unrivaled defensive ability is his ability to make crucial interceptions. He makes 3per game, no player in the top 3 makes as much! No player makes more successful clearance per game than him, except John Terry who just marginally edge him at 7.0 clearance to 6.9.

RB - Ivanovic

Has made the right back position his own and rightly so. He beats Sagna to this spot. He has made more tackles compare to the Frenchman, 1.9 to 1.6. More clearances, 5.5 to 4.2, and more block shots 0.3 to 0.2.

LB - Pablo Zabaleta

Can play on either side of the back, left back or right back, so we slot him right here. None of Gibbs or Azcipilueta has better stats than the
Argentine, though City's defense hasn't been the best but still he has shone! Makes more tackles 3.8 than any defender in the top 3 teams and contributes offensively too, 5 assists!

CM - Yaya Toure

The heart at the midfield for City. The current African footballer of the year has scored 12times while also weighing in with 4 assists.

CM - Aaron Ramsey

May be out injured but no player presently playing in the middle of the park betters the Welshman's stats other than Toure. 8goals and 6 assists with an average tackle per game of 3.7 makes us prefer him to Fernandinho!

AM (L)  - Hazard

By far Chelsea's best player this season with 9goals and 5 assists. When Hazard is on rythm Chelsea is on fire. He is the team best scorer and also its best creator with 2.6 passes per game!

AM(R) - Silva

The Spanish playmaker and wizard can do amazing things with the ball on his feet, either right, left or centre! He is the division's top creator with 3.9 key passes per game add to this, 4 goals and 7 assists and you have a quality playmaker in your team darting in from the right.

AM(C) - Ozil

Ozil has shown he is worth every dime of the forty two million paid in the summer! 4 goals, 8 assists doesn't tell you the whole story of how Ozil signing has changed Arsenal!

CF - Sergio Aguero

15 goals and 5 assists in barely 15games? Aguero is on fire and Man. City is unstoppable. Barring injury he would have probably scored more. He is our lone striker upfront of this formation.
